For The Love Of Gingham

You've probably noticed that there's been an abundance of gingham out there this season. It's a classic print that I've always loved, so I'm really excited to see more of it on the high street. Below are a few of the pieces I've been admiring and would be welcome additions to my wardrobe. As I said, it's a classic print, so if you pick items wisely, then you'll be able to wear them for years to come. Another great thing about gingham is how well it adapts to both city and country styles, so perfect for country girls like me who have found themselves living a city life.

1.) This tie front cotton shirt dress from MAJE is perfect for the office and drinks in town with the girls. It's also going to look great for a day at the polo with a gorgeous classic big straw hat. 2.) I love the bold print on this belted gingham top from Jigsaw. I can picture it working well with tailored trousers for the office, or white jeans and comfy flats for lunch at a country pub. 3.) I am absolutely in love with these gingham trousers from J.Crew they will look stunning paired with a simple white t shirt and Fairfax & Favors hot pink Henley driving shoes

4.) I'm loving all the mules around at the moment, these from Sam Edelman have really caught my eye. 5.) Pencil skirts are always flattering with a little blouse for the office, I love the colour of this one from J.Crew. 6.) Everyone who follows me on Instagram knows how much I adore flowers, so this embroidered gingham shirt from ASOS is ideal for me! Its definitely one that would team well with my Schoffel and Dubarrys.

Would love to hear if any of you have some fav gingham pieces
