Autumn Wardrobe Essentials

The last time I posted on here was a few days before lockdown, we've all been through so much since then. In all honestly it just didn't feel right posting about pretty clothes when the world was going through so much. I know we're nowhere near out of the woods just yet, but I feel ready to start writing down my thoughts again.

If you're been following me for a while you'll know that Autum/Winter is my absolute favourite time of year, I love the cold crisp days, the cosy nights in and alllll the layers!

I've pulled together all the bits I'm loving at the moment in one handy little blog post for you guys.

I adore this piece. It's timeless and I'll have this for years! Layer with a white blouse on warmer days and get extra cosy with a chunky roll neck for those wintery country walks!

In life I'd rather have fewer, but better quality things. Items that are versatile and can be worn in many ways. The colour of this jumper is perfect for this time of year. It teams perfectly with jeans for a causal pub lunch or dressed up with a glitzy pleated skirt for the evening.

Autumn is all about layers and cosy rich fabrics isn't it! Which makes the new Cheska Gilet by Joules perfect! Pulled on under a waxed jacket, it gives a bit of a luxe vibe to an otherwise practical country wardrobe.

I will always choose high rise trouser, they are faaaarrrrr more flattering for my shape! Imagine these tucked in to your Dubarry boots to stomp around the fields. They'd be equally a fitting with a pretty blouse and dainty ballet flats. Absolutely perfect colour for this time of year.

You all know I love a headband, pretty but also oh so practical. The colours in the latest headband by Winged Hare are just sublime. Beautifully handmade, these headbands are so comfortable to wear and simply complete an outfit.

To finish of this Autumnal outfit you're going to needs some boots... Dubarry boots. Totally worth the investment, I've had mine over 10 years!

Have a wonderful evening!
