Spring Wardrobe With The Joules Walton Crombie Coat

Some of you may know, I was supposed to be heading to Cheltenham Festival last week with Joules. With the increasing uncertainty surrounding Coronavirus Alex and I didn't feel comfortable attending. Instead we had a wonderful day in Oxford sporting our outfits kindly gifted to us by the Joules team.

This year I've found myself really looking forward to Spring. Winter feels like it's really dragged on and I'm so ready to start looking forward to the rest of the year. With that in mind I wanted to show you how wonderful the Poppy coloured Walton Crombie Coat from Joules is and how it's the perfect piece to transition from Winter to Spring.

Look 1

So this is the look that I picked out to attend Cheltham races. I knew I'd want to be warm and have something comfy on my feet. I fell in love with the Walton Crombie Coat in this gorgeous Poppy colour and picked the rest of my outfit to work around that. Due to the coat being so Jazzy, I kept the rest of the outfit very simple, with a white shirt and black high waisted jeans. The boots are something different from my usual style but I absolutely love them and they will be great to wear with black tights and dresses too!

Look 2

Look 2 is slightly more casual, the Poppy coloured coat teamed with a striped top is such winner for me. I'd wear with a pair of casual loose fitting jeans and comfy trainers. Its the kind of outfit you just pull on. The coat and striped top are quite jazzy together, so I've kept the rest of this look fairly neutral... blue is a neutral right?!?!

Look 3

For this final look I've tried to see how we can pair the Walton Crombie Coat with a skirt. It works particularly well with the Alissa skirt as it picks up the poppy coloured fleck in the pattern. The length of the coat and length of the skirt are a little mismatched, so I've kept the rest of the outfit quite casual with a cosy jumper and pair of pumps. The gold watch and leather bag give it a little luxe feel.

So there we have it, I've fallen head over heels for the Walton Crombie Coat and now I have a very long wish list to complete my spring wardrobe.

Hope you're all having a wonderful Sunday

Pip
