Our Cosy Valentines With Evemy & Evemy
I'm back!!!
Firstly, I'm so sorry it's been so long since I last blogged. As most of you know we have moved house and a lack of internet brought things to a bit of a sudden halt. We're back up and running now, and I'm finally able to get back in the blogging game.
Moving house has been utterly exhausting, so the next few weeks we plan on trying to slowly get the new cottage sorted, but also spend time recharging our batteries. Alex and I feel like we have barely had a chance to enjoy our new home, so Valentines for us will be a cosy night in front of the log burner, just catching up and taking time to be lazy. Alex actually has to be away on Valentines Day, so we will be 'celebrating' this evening. We're not the kind of couple who go crazy with extravagant gifts for Valentines, for us it's more of an excuse just to stop and spend time together. In fact this year, Alex has just bought me a new Emma Bridgewater mug to add to our collection, and I'm happy as a clam!
Our new little cottage in the woods tends to get quite chilly in the evenings, so I will be making sure I'm extra cosy in front of the fire with these gorgeous alpaca wool lounge socks from Evemy & Evemy. They come in 2 different colours, fog and ecru/fog stripes, and are the softest of wool. It feels a bit silly to say this about socks, but they truly do feel like they are adding a touch of luxury, to my otherwise very basic leggings and big cosy jumper vibes.
